So here are the basics. I am in my final year of law school and planning a spring destination wedding in Grand Cayman! I have never been the type of girl who fantasized about her wedding day and after being involved in lots of friends' weddings, I decided that I wanted to do something different, stress-fee, and fun. My family is spread out all over the country, so I thought "If I am going to make them travel to my wedding, why not have them go somewhere fabulous?!" Hello, Grand Cayman!

My wedding planning, which started out with descriptions like "no big deal," "budget-friendly," and "simple beach ceremony," has turned in to a full-fledged Martha Stewart Weddings wannabee three day extravaganza!! Although I am still aiming for a laid-back vibe for our wedding weekend, I have become increasingly obsessed with DIY projects, wedding planning blogs, and all the mantra "it's all in the details."
