Aqua and Poppy

Image via Snippet and Ink

Okay, okay, it's aqua and red. But Martha Steward Weddings calls it "Aqua and Poppy," which I find much more appealing. See, "poppy" is like "red," except that it is much more glamorous and interesting. Now that we are in agreement that this is CLEARLY "poppy," isn't this color palette cute? I have seen it on several wedding websites, but I've never seen it done in real life. It is certainly a bold color combination, and one would have to be careful to ensure that it didn't come off too "4th of July," but I think it's really interesting! And neither of these color combinations clash with the black sash that I plan to have on my dress, so it gets bonus points for that too.

Well, this is my last color post! I'd love to hear your thoughts! Which one should I choose?

I was reading from the bottom up and I didn't see this until after I wrote that I like the blues better. I change my vote to aqua and poppy! It's really original and it goes with the setting better than black and pink. I still really like the shades of blue, but I like the aqua and poppy a little bit better.

I think you should go with aqua and poppy. You obviously love it. And you have two great options for choosing bridesmaids dresses. It's kinda like when you made the decision to change your venue to Grand Cayman and then all of a sudden you got really excited about it, you know?
